Inclusion Criteria (PDF)   Inclusion Criteria At A Glance(PDF)       IDAHO TRAUMA REGISTRY INCLUSION CRITERIA     All patients with at least one injury from ICD-9 (International Classification of Diseases) diagnosis codes as follows:     CRITERIA INCLUDE:     800.00 - 959.9   All injuries except late effects, foreign bodies, superficial injuries, poisonings, some external causes, complications of medical care. 994.1       Drowning and nonfatal submersions. 994.7       Asphyxiation and strangulation. 994.8       Electrocution and nonfatal effects of electric current.     AND   were admitted as an inpatient,   OR   died,   OR   were transferred out by ambulance or transferred in by ambulance and admitted as an in-patient.     CRITERIA EXCLUDE:     905 - 909   Late effects of injuries, poisonings, toxic effects and other external causes. 910 - 919   Superficial injuries (if the only injury) 920 - 924   Contusions with intact skin surface (if the only injury) 930 - 939   Foreign bodies entering through orifice Certain Ground Level Falls Patients with a single extremity fracture (ICD-9 810.00-816.13, 820.00-826.1) or a single extremity dislocation (ICD-9 831.00-838.19) from a ground level fall (E880.1, E885-E886).
